This research, which investigates and analyzes the Khomein carpet, is the result of a field activity that does not have a theoretical or library aspect. khomein is one of the southern regions of the central province and due to its proximity to Arak, Kashan, Golpayegan, Khansar and Aligoudarz, it is one of the most important carpet weaving hubs of Iran from the past to the present. with the presence of Lilian and Reyhan - two old centers of carpet weaving - in this area, this place has a double importance; although, despite its long history, compared to other areas of carpet production in Central Province, it has had less time to be introduced. therefore, the main question of the research is, what are the technical and aesthetic characteristics of khomin carpet? also, the purpose of this research is to study, identify, introduce and analyze the technical and aesthetic dimensions of the carpet of this region. some of the findings of the research include the following: carpet production has greatly decreased compared to the past. Raj shomar of carpets(number of knots in 5.6 cm) in the past is between 20 and 25 and today it is between 30 and 35. today,
